Dog fights & rude people are the biggest issues in today's dog parks.

We love the idea of dog parks, and if you don't know much about them, they sound like a great idea. Unfortunately though, they are terribly executed. Anybody can show up with any dog, aggressive or not, infections or not, intact or not, and combined with a lack of knowledge and education in dog body language, each visit to the dog park is a roll of the dice whether or not your visit will be a disaster.

In North America in 2024, insurers paid out $1.19 billion for 19,372 dog-related injury claims, marking an 7% increase from the previous year. Not only that, but over 38% of those reported injuries came from a dog park.

Can you imagine all of the pros of a dog park, whilst mitigating all of the risks? Well, at Doggo Den Park, we think we have nailed the execution of how a dog park should be run.

For safety, we have three, 8k Security cameras covering the entire park. We also have twin gated entrance ways into the dog park. At peak times a trainer patrols the park for any questions or concerns you might have.

More importantly, every dog park member has to pass a test. The test is split into 2 parts, which run one after the other. The human test is both a video education and a talk on dog body language, how fights or disagreements happen, and how to be proactive in preventing issues. Then we have a multiple choice test based on the knowledge we just gave you. The test takes approximately 25 minutes.

The next test is a recall test in the off leash dog park with other dogs in the test. The trainer will point to you, which will be your signal to recall your dog. Pass 2 out of 3 attempts and you will have passed the test. This test will take approximately 15 minutes.

Graduates are awarded a unique black membership card with your portrait (similar to a Costco card but... nicer 😜).

How to BOOK?

To get started, either download our app "Doggo Den" from the google play store or the apple app store. Create your account and setup your dogs profile, then create a reservation, select training, then select Dog Park Testing and Assessment. Confirm your day and time, make payment ($25 for the full test) and you are all set. Booking confirmation and general conduct rules will be automatically sent to you.
